Sizes are quoted assuming worsted weight yarn is used, but any thickness of yarn could be used (most were designed in DK weight).

Aldeburgh SQuare
June 2024: The first in a new series of larger squares, measuring 24 inch in Worsted Weight or 18 inch in DK.
The pattern contains written instructions, round by round photos and crochet symbol charts.

Dedham square
November 2023: Another free square, Dedham is 12 inch if worked in Worsted yarn with a 5.5mm hook, but could be worked in any thickness of yarn with an appropriate hook.
The pattern contains written instructions supported by photos of most rounds.

September 2021: The latest free square for the Ravelry Block a Month square, Wrabness is 12 inches in Worsted weight yarn and a 5.5mm hook, but can be made in any weight. This sample is shown in Stylecraft Special DK.
